In messages, you have the option to "check all" of your outbox. Does this do anything?

I've been clicking that, then remove and getting a dialogue box saying: "Are you sure you want to delete these messages?" and selecting OK, and then nothing happens.

I think it may either be a holdover from the previous PM system, or Andy has hidden the checkboxes by mistake, which seems to have broken the 'check all' function of the tick box.
