(A few minutes ago, I spoke to Marc on the phone. He had been to the dentist's and I asked him if the receptionist there was the one that looks like Spock, or the one that doesn't look like him. And he said it was the one that looks like Spock. So I squealed.

Surveying a house earlier. As I was packing up the tenant was asking me about my car. Asked me how many miles were on it. I said just over 200,000. He then offered to clock the mileage for me and reduce it.

Jesus, dude. Don't offer to do that for people you've just met. I'm not a criminal and even I know that. Fair enough, I'm obviously not a member of any police force, but f*cking hell dude, use a bit of tact about it if you're going to be at that craic.

Besides, my NCT (MOT) is in a few weeks. They know what mileage was on it last time. What am I supposed to tell them? "I've been driving in reverse for the last two years!"?

(Yesterday, i went to Cardiff to buy some tickets. On the way back, i saw a van that was white and looked like it hadn't been washed for a few weeks. It had God is love written on it. And it had an ichthus.)

Still, i'm English * and he's Welsh so we don't always say things the same way.
