Yesterday, i saw a squirrel, some Eddie Stobart lorries, some Norbert Dentressangle lorries, a Wolter Koops lorry and some bridge graffiti that said I Love The Pies.

Today, Marc bought me another gingerbread person.

Edit: i just remembered that i also saw a Tunnock's lorry.

Ta for the congrats, everyone. Especially Lisa for her super-creative Yorkshire turn of phrase making me chuckle like a good un.

Cheering me up this week, and just about the only f*cking thing to do so, is that Ania's swagged a brace of tickets to see Ezra Furman at band On the Wall. So I'll go to that, spend the following weekend at Liverpool Psych fest, then see Gemma Ray at the Brud the day after I come back. Well smart

Great weekend. Went out Friday night for a cheey couple after work, which turned into ten pints of IPD on an empty stomach, and resulted in me sweating and shaking my way through work on Saturday.

Came through to Skipton last night. Left the little fella with me mam and dad, went for a couple of pints and a smoke with Sarfend Geof, rocked in smashed at three thirty. And me mam, bless her, said she'd get up with Luka so me and Ania could have a lie-in. Didn't leave the bed till ten o' clock. Amazing.

Wonder how many VR couples there were in the end? VR is kinda responsible for me meeting Ania, in a way. I hooked up with a load of people from here and had a debauch around Leeds one Saturday afternoon, which ended up at the Cockpit, I think it was. I stayed over at the Reverend's gaff that night - by which I mean we stayed up drinking all night, and all day the next day too, before he took me round to meet this girl he worked with that he thought I'd like. So Ania's first sight of Doc was me turning up at her house, ruined, having not slept for two days, with an pen bottle of wine in each hand and a fag hanging out of my mouth. Apparently I walked into a lampost on the way to the pub as well. She says I didn't bat an eyelid, just spun round, walked on and carried on reciting poetry at her.......

Yeah it was the cockpit. That was an interesting day, I left my coat somewhere...

There have been uncountable amounts of couples/weddings/babies now I imagine, probably even some we don't know about cause so many people from the 2001-2003 era left here and didn't keep in touch... and the future hasn't even happened yet!

Yep, this is day 58, so any time from now she can pop, though we're now thinking it could go to about 65 days as she's not very big, could be a small litter, which they do usually carry for that bit longer.

Either way, exciting :3

Faye thinks it's gonna be Tuesday, as she asked lil. She responded to Tuesday, but none of the.other days.

The Sunday before last, Marc and i took Herman the tortoise to the vet's as they had a free check-up for animals thing. i thought it was cool that the vet that saw Herman had tortoises on her top.

In the past few days, i've seen a pink motorbike and a purple horsebox.

Last Wednesday, i found £5 and 6p. Also last Wednesday, i went to the communal hall and there was a letter for me. It was a signed photo of Kaley Cuoco.

Edit: Also, a man fixed the boiler yesterday.

Went to Sarfend Geoff's massive annual Halloween hootenanny on Saturday night, and it was boss. Stayed up till half past five, chain-smoking spliffs, swilling down pint after pint of Guinness and dancing to loads of old rave tunes, then skanking to Prince Buster

Was far, far too knackered for that kind fo carry on, having done a six-day, fifty hour working week, compounded by Peg-related sleeplessness, but really glad I stayed out. Did me the world of good, that.
