i went for a walk today and i saw a small, white butterfly and a yellow ford car. i'm not often interested in cars but it was 1960s-looking. i went to the canal with the fiancé. We saw two white butterflies and one blue butterfly.

I got given an 80 Watt solida state Marshall amp at the weekend, gratis. It's a bit f*cked but perfectly suited to my needs. Not had one in the house for years so have been having a ball breaking out my Gibson and making an unholy f*cking racket.

Probably sounds mad, but my living room smells of radiators and I love it.
I've always loved the autumn, and one of the strongest memories I have from when I was a kid was how the radiators in me mam and dad's house used to smell. Me dad's always after getting his hands dirty so he'd gloss them every year, and then every autumn when you put them on for the first time, all you could smell was gloss and heat.
I painted my radiators when I moved into this house, and now my living room smells like that

Last night I made a curry and it was edible so that's two proper meals I've made from scratch, chilli and a curry. Woop!
Made a chocolate cake today, it was a 2lb loaf so took a fair while to cook, is tasty though! mmmm cake.
Might be trying my hand at making soup later this week(!)
