The New-New VR

OK, first things first - Log out of VR, and then back in to get the full effect. Second, If you don't like the blue, edit your profile, you can pick a colour in there. Only Green and Purple at the moment, but more in the next few days.

Also, there is a funky new member map - add yourself onto it if you want.

Member biography's on your profile have been improved - since people put loads of stuff in them, I thought it would be good to make it show up higher n the page. If your biography is missing - let me know, and I can put it back

You now only get notification emails once per thread (until you read it)

The threads showing up as unread bug should be gone, as should the weird characters showing up instead of apostrophes etc (only on new posts, old ones will still have them there unfortunately )

New smileys - just a bit nicer really.

Yup, old style homepage will be back - but I thought I'd get something up rather than waiting till its all done...

The Shoutbox has shrunk. It's really slim.

Otherwise, I like a lot of the new stuff, and I guess I'll adjust to the rest.

I've an idea.... How about a board especailly for all those NSSW threads? 'Cause let's face it - they're a lot more interesting than most threads. Having them all in one place just makes sense.

Also, do we still have access to all those other smileys?

I think it looks quite good. Alienating at first, however, but I got used to it quickly.

To be fair, there are several other reasons why it would be a bad idea, lol!

Like Emma said, the Boudoir died a death so i don't think it'd last the course.

The boudoir WAS created solely for sextalk... it just never took off. At the time the people who modded it were the yesterdays equivilent of Caggie and Emma today... Neen and Laura (with Jo and, later on, me, of course).

Although there are a lot of NSSW threads it's not worth making a new board for. It'd either be the same as the boudoir was and die... or become a second spam board.

Hmm, I don't recall The Boudoir ever hitting some of the peaks of smuttiness that Caggie and Emma have hit. Laura never seemed that smut orientated. Plus, I have had people tell me to stop doing the smut thing as they find it annoying; I know it's not just me so maybe if there was a column (let's face it, generic juices has died), we could post there and not hassle anyone else. Besides, I don't see many other ideas for new columns.

I think that WAS the main reason it died in all honesty; but the same can be said for alot of columns.

It was written in such a way as to be a continuation of Sammy's post. On top of that, if you're going to point out grammatical mistakes, bee hatch, don't misuse an ellipsis in the same sentence.

In which case YOU should have used an elipses.

Also, I have never once claimed to be a Grammar Nazi and wouldn't often point out mistakes like that

It would have meant nothing at the start of a sentence without a complimentary ellipsis on the end of Sammys point.

I did dare, in informal writing, to credit the potential reader with a modicum of intelligence, which is, I admit, usually a mistake.

I actually meant that there is a specific character for an ellipsis (…) as opposed to 3 dots in a row (...) - Since we are being so pedantic, I thought it would be pertinent to point this out to someone such as yourself
