Chris Kamara -

I can't really offer much advice, but you can only do what you feel is right to help her, whether it's what she wants in the short term or not. If you decide to tell your parents then you're doing it because you want her to be ok. In the future i'm sure she'll understand that you only did what was best at the time. Right now i bet she doesn't understand the dangers she is putting herself in. Maybe that's not to say she can't make her own decisions, but perhaps someoene elses decision can be of more use to her in the future.

She's put you in a terribly difficult situation. I'd tell. You would only be telling as you're so worried and she should understand. If she doesn't, that's her fault and you shouldn't feel bad.

However, as Emma asked, it really depends on your folks and how they'd react to the knowledge she's on drugs. You don't want to see her thrown out and therefore probably in a situation where drugs are even more so the answer, but if you think they'd react relatively calmly and do their best to help her out (in whatever way that may be) then I don't think not telling should even be an option for you.
I hope some day, for some reason, David Duchovny is investigated by the FBI. Because that would make a great story.
