Torrential high seas dragged me to my knees

I liked The Telegraph for a while. Although I read The Scotsman, the Herald, the Guardian, the Independant and the Daily Mail on occasion too. And I'm saying nothing about the Daily Sport.

i read the times. the bbc radio 4 of the newspaper world. tis mostly because i have a crush on both giles coren and robert crampton tho.

I like the guardian for its reporting , coloumnists, and readability etc, but when it comes to to unbiased coverage, I would have to vote for the independant...

I read the Independent every day, but I also pick up the Guardian and the Times if I'm out and about and sometimes the less trashy Scottish papers too.

The Metro does the trick for me, plus it has Nemi in it, which I am growing to love, despite me not being the target audience for such a comic.

I hope some day, for some reason, David Duchovny is investigated by the FBI. Because that would make a great story.

Every newspaper has its bias, as does every person, and my views often align with those of the Guardian, but it's not flawless. I tend to buy it the most though.

And I occasionally buy the Morning Star and/or the Daily Mail when I'm in need of angry inspiration, hahaha.

The Metro is a good paper but the idiots have got rid of the crossword! Unforgivable.

I occasionally read the Daily Mail (free gay p*rn for single mothers on the NHS! Tony Blair to legalise murder!) just for Peter Hitchens' hilarious reactionary rants.

You missed out the Financial Times though which I like, not only because it's salmon coloured but also because I like knowing all about the economy.

There's a point! Where's the Economist?! Thought it's technically not a newspaper, can it count? I have a subscription...

Tabloids are only fun for the gossip, and the football these days.

I'm suprised The Guardian doesn't come in tabloid size now. It probably does, but i've never seen it.

All that seems to ever be in the smoking room at work is The Sun so I usually try and find a Metro before work, or one of the local papers like the Croydon Advertiser, The Post or summat. Because I live in London, I get one set of local papers and then get different ones from working in Croydon. More variety.

Back when I worked in a papershop on Sundays, I would first read the Coatbridge & Airdrie Advertiser for local news and to see if I spotted anyone I knew, then if I had time, I'd flick through the Sunday Post. Mainly for the Oor Wullie and The Broons cartoons, but hey

Don't read any papers now though.

I voted The Times but the parents get the mirror so thats what I generally end up reading.

And I've started to read The Metro alot now I travel in a morning. Tis good!

I blue myself.

I mostly read my news online now, to be perfectly honest. I used to read the Guardian religiously, although it's a parody of it's self these days - the campaign to influence the vote in Ohio was possibly the most arrogant and ill thought out gesture I've ever seen from a newspaper. It's certainly not an impartial paper and some of it's columnists (Toynbee in particular) aggravate me.

I buy the Independent ocasionally and the Torygraph is good for football.

I went to school with Toynbee's niece and nephew. Didn't particularly like either of them

My dad went to school with uber-reactionary Mail columnist Peter Hitchens. According to my dad he was absolutely mental and a rabid Trotskyist.

Even as a dyed in the wool socialist, I don't actually mind Hitchens, he's certainly an entertaining writer. I know several people who have switched so called 'extreme' political allegiances - It's also interesting to note that his alleged socialist brother Christopher supported the war in Iraq and Peter didn't.
